While this community is very open to DIY discussion, I’d also like to point you to !diyhrt@lemmy.blahaj.zone which is specifically about DIY. Might help to cross-post if you have questions! Do be mindful of the fact that people looking at the all feed can see it though, and may not have opinions representative of community members. Mods are pretty good about shutting down harmful advice, but thought I’d mention it!

Most are supportive of DIY because we know it’s very difficult to get prescriptions in much of the world right now. But be specific on what you’re asking and it doesn’t hurt to mention if prescription is not possible for you so you don’t get lectured about the risks of DIY as much. But yeah, there’s a lot of low quality stuff out there taking advantage of the market created by the hate, so start conservative on dosage, be aware of common contaminants in whatever you’re using (such as heavy metals and toxic fillers), take it slow, and don’t get frustrated if it takes a little time to take effect. But overall, enjoy it.

I don’t have so much of a problem with my doctor knowing, but she’s required to fill out my journal which under normal circumstances can only be accessed by medical professionals who are involved in my treatment (or the equivalent of child protective services). But, if Norway goes the same way as the USA, there’s nothing stopping the government from just taking the information by use of either changing the laws or commanding one of the organisations that are already legally allowed to access it. So it’s best if it’s not there to begin with.

thats why we avoid public healthcare especially psychiatric

being pinned to psych with any diagnosis you will never have gun or driver license , work in govr etc

but private care is pretty cheap if its not moscow

              eg 30 eur for psychiaatrist
