The Ontario government has sold a $28.9 million private jet back to Bombardier, less than a week after its purchase spurred public outcry.
Premier Doug Ford made the announcement at an unrelated event Wednesday.
“We sold the plane for the same price, right back to Bombardier and said ‘OK, you take it back,’” Ford said.
“We gave it back to Bombardier at the exact same price, no one lost anything.”
" . . . no one lost anything.”
Well, I’m hoping that you lost some face, Mr. Ford.
Pretty sure at least someone lost the commission on their $28.9 million sale.
Plus all the manhours and restock.
Don’t forget about that environmental fee
He’s talking like Trump more and more, just a barrage of BS, even chickening out like this.
faco?
Cool, now that you have that money back, is that money going to go to, idk, nurses? Teachers? ODSP recipients struggling to get by?
Or is it just going to continue getting shunted into the pockets of your corporate buddies and American advertisers like was the case before?
If it’s any consolation to you, Premier Ford, you have, “like all the provinces’ Premiers,” a prestigious job. I voted for you to keep the plane.
Despite the other province’s premiers not having private planes?
