I imagine that Russia was Ukraine’s biggest trading partner before 2012. Reducing trade with Russia probably didn’t seem feasible to some ukrainians before the war started.
The newly authoritarian US is threatening our country. What choice do we have but to reduce trade with them? I know Canada will be much poorer now that we have been betrayed by our former ally, but i would rather be poor than under that shithead’s boot.

Carney is very bad at communicating and informing Canadians. He likes to keep everything private until there are results to publish. It keeps me worried that he’s accomplishing nothing and my confidence in his abilities is very low considering how he’s folded all the hands we actually held.
