How Canada became the centre of a measles outbreak in North America?
Conservatives. From every variety from the whackjob antivaxer to the religious. Society can’t advance when tethered to anchors.
Not Canada, Alberta.
Alberta is solely responsible for this with their traitor premier, and overall gullable and slow folks living there.
Ontario has 3 times the population and significantly more cross-border & international traffic. The fact that Alberta has half as many cases indicates something is not being managed well.
My anecdotal experience with family who moved to AB is that Danielle Smith supporters lean heavily anti-vax/science.
(Replying to you cuz I pre-emptively blocked buddy below due to his post history indicating he’s insufferable.)
Ontario has nearly twice as many cases and it’s present all over Canada
What? Why drag Canada into wormbrains war on common sense? The children suffer at the hands of superstitionistas and conspiracy theorists egged on by an ultra wealthy nepo druggie.
This is not new in Canada and doesn’t all have to do with the Trump regime. There’s a lot of idiots that live here too and a lot of them didn’t get their kids vaccinated from the 2000s on. I worked as a paramedic for a long time. Much of it specifically with children. Alberta has an entire generation of anti-vax kids and now they also have their own children. I can only imagine that applies to other provinces as well.
I’m aware; but it’s a media linked reinforcement thing. No more operable vacuums when it comes to this stuff… or are there?
The Canadian outbreaks are primarily in anti-vax religious groups, not strictly protected with JFK.
Yeah, I know it’s not strictly him; but his ‘rise to power’ tends to hearten fanatics everywhere: just like the neo-natsees all around when tyranny-rump somehow stole an election after being convicted by what was supposed to be the “supreme” court… there is a difficult case to be made for these as compartmentalized events and even more difficult is making sense of their continued unfolding.
