Why are so many things on Ebay even more expensive then what the item would be brand new from the store?

I was searching for a Motorola MA1 Wireless Android Auto which is $80 brand new in a store, but on Ebay they are anywhere from $100 to $200. Even if it is pre-owned. It seems impossible that anyone is ever going to buy this so what is the purpose of these listings?

Saying 'Youre wrong!" is trolling. If you gave some insight of why I would be incorrect, then you might have some merit. So, What type of economic system do YOU think ebay uses? Private individuals control the production, the market is run by supply and demand, individuals (ie companies) decide how much products and services are worth. Thats reeking of capitalism.

You not knowing what capitalism is just means you shouldn’t discuss it.

Capitalism is not the concept of selling things. It is when private individuals or privately held companies invest in other companies, and seek to profit from such investment.

Trade predates capitalism by thousands of years. Also consumers set prices, by indicating how much they are willing to pay.

Trolling is when you start a meaningless argument on the internet with the sole intent of making someone angry. The less the troll actually cares about the argument, and the longer they can draw it out, the more “successful” (I mean, I guess) the trolling is.

It’s named after the type of fishing, because they’re just dragging bait around hoping to catch someone in their game.
