Being European doesn’t necessarily mean you’re white. The Irish are European (and the whitest of the bunch if skin color was the only factor) and for the longest time they weren’t considered white, and were subject to the same oppression and genocide from the “real whites”. Many Jewish people, and many Zionist for that matter, may have European ancestry, but they aren’t really considered white. Some might be white passing, but the Jewish diaspora is multi ethnic and largely unified by their religion/family history. Even the ones from a “white” background aren’t considered white because they’re Jewish first in the minds of those who seek to enact racist violence against them
