Hello! Migrated over to Lemmy. I’ve noticed in the past few weeks a lot of posts/comments about protests, criticizing Nazis and Elon being censored/removed. This was all magnified in the past few hours as /r/whitepeopletwitter was banned tonight to satisfy fElon.
Holy shit! Is there no limit to this fucker’s reach? Money really does buy everything.
When power and tools are given to a central authority to dictate what communication, expression and thought is “prohibited”, for essentially any reason, it is only a matter of time before that is abused.
