If governments really did have crashed alien ships they’ve been reverse engineering since the 50’s as some conspiracy and UFO believers theorize, we would have had proof of it posted to the War Thunder forums by now.

Slight reflection off of the rim of the front facing holes on the helmets…I think
They could actually be Cat-eye friend or foe markers . They’re luminescent strips usually put on the back of the head or shoulders that reflect just enough light to see someone is ahead of you in dark spaces.
Most military helmets or hats have them. At least the ones I know of.
