So my good friend (cis woman who I’ll call “Alexa”) is dating a she/they enby tucute (let’s call her “Frankie”). Alexa knows I don’t like Frankie. Alexa knows im trans and knows that I don’t fuck with fakers. I don’t care that she’s dating one, but we had an agreement that she wouldn’t make Frankie interact with me.

Well, today Alexa invited Frankie to our small friend group Minecraft server. Then she tries to make us all group call. And when I want no part in that, she gets defensive on Frankie’s behalf. I’m clearly upset at this point and leave the group to give myself some space. But now they’re all mad at me.

I’m pissed but I know I still want to be Alexa’s friend because she’s a pretty good person otherwise and we’ve been friends for so many years.
