I have a family member who works tirelessly for a minimum wage.

After tax etc. he’s left with ~1,375€.

His r_ent for a mini shoebox sized studio recently went up from 900€ to 1,150€. (absolute 0 changes to the building, WTF?!)

Now 83%+ of his income goes directly to the “landlord”!

After internet + phone he’s left with ~150€. Which gets you (if lucky) a 45% filled shopping cart with groceries for the month. WTF is he even living/working for???

How different is this from old slavery where Masters had to use ~20% of the (by slaves) produced goods to keep them alive?

Tell me now, what is the fucking point of existing in Luxembourg?
