Review for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes on GameCube from NGC Magazine 101 - Christmas 2004 (UK)
(part 1/2)
This game to me has one of the most suffocating atmospheres that I’ve ever encountered. The dark world just feels so eerie and unnatural. I love it!
Can’t wait to see the remake for this one.

@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games I hope a remaster or even port happens someday, I have PrimeHack but I’ve never enjoyed laptop gaming
@UncannyKyle@mstdn.games
The plan seems to have been to do a remaster of the first one and then a quick port of 2 and 3.
But that seems to have been put on hold after the incredible response to, and success of the original remaster.So this makes me think that Nintendo decided to give 2 and 3 the full remaster treatment as well, which has me hyped to see more of it. 😊
@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games ahahahahaha YESSSSSSSSSSS :sickos:
The thing I most remember about this game’s coverage at the time was that NOM UK -insisted- upon calling Quadraxis ‘Colin’ because it was easier to type, and it stuck when my friends & i were discussing Prime 2 in the playground
