I’m looking to get more serious about my woodworking and house maintenance / crafts.

I keep reading to buy the ‘system’ that you want all your tools to be for batteries etc. I keep seeing so many positive/negative/contradicting reviews online.

I’m currently looking at DeWalt + Milwaukee as the top runners. DeWalt being the one I’m leaning towards most. Festool is cool and all, but seems a bit out of my budget / needs. Ryobi seems decent, but people say they dont last long / lower quality / reliability.

Wanted to hear your opinions, justifications, recommendations, etc.

(PS. leaning towards DeWalt for diversity of batteries, so many tools to choose from, etc.)
