I like classic menswear a lot and the way Donald Trump dresses clearly give a sense of trying to look powerful.

His tie is way too large and look like it’s made of polyester (the red color is garrish). The shirt is okay but he doesn’t take care of his body so his body doesn’t care about his style.

He never wears a pocket square which demonstrates a kind of utilitarian mindset? “Why accesorize and wear something personal and tasteful?”

Joe Biden feels much less like a power suit and more like how he dresses. He wears suits that fit him and dress for his body type: his clothes work for him and make his silhouette stand out! (It’s a big part of how the shoulder are made on the jacket)

This kinda menswear is pretty beautiful when you master it, it’s just a shame that it’s associated with “power”. It’s more about beauty, craftsmanship, and personality for me than ridiculous formality. It’s also a lasting investment (you don’t buy a sport jacket every 2 months, it’s more like every 5 years) and it will fit you well.

Hope that mentality will shift with time but those conservatives are not helping the suit have the image it deserves.
