hi friends! my partner recently finished culinary school, and loves to cook at home a lot. his birthday is coming up so i’m looking for gift ideas. my obvious first thought was a nice knife, but i know that he already has knives that he likes. if anyone has any gift ideas that i maybe wouldn’t have thought of please let me know!
appliances/equipment/books/obscure ingredients are all things i’m considering, and my budget is probably about $300, but i don’t mind spending a little more.
for reference, he loves italian food. also, knives are still on the table if anybody has some stellar recommendations ;p
thank you!
I think it could be funny to order a personalized portrait of him or his pet as a cook! Probably if he is a cook he has everything he needs for his activity, but such a gift could be memorable and unusual option. Something like this: https://petroyalportrait.com/products/pet-chef-pet-portrait I’ve ordered a pet doctor portrait for my medical friend and it was such a hit!
