One thing that bothered me from the video was him being a journalist and talking about truth and all other bullcrap, but when he got to the Madison case he didn’t care at all about the truth. He was 100% for supporting her and to believe what she said.

We already have way too many cases in society when believing the victim lead to destroyed lives, look at the Johnny Depp case which ruined basically all his career only for us to find out in court that he was actually the victim. Of course with the case being a company VS an employee can lead to a different outcome, we should wait for the investigation results to burn LTT at a pile.

I kinda get where he is coming from. As you said, there are examples of people being falsely accused, but I think they are generally in the minority. When I think about the risk/reward of Madison saying what she did, given the giant power imbalance, it just doesn’t seem like lying about those things would be very beneficial

I don’t really have any stake in any of this, so I’m hesitant to form any strong opinion on the matter either way.

She knows the company, Linus and the other workers, so she probably would know if they would sue her for that or not. Choosing this timing was a double edged sword for her, since, sure LMG is now under a lot of trouble so it lost most of the power they had to destroy her image or whatever bad they could do to her. BUT, she is a public figure, so like this guy said about Gamer Nexus, even Madison would have to gain by shitting on LMG image right now since people’s first reaction is to support the victim without doubt. It’s not bad to support her, I just hope people don’t go on cancelling LMG based on allegations only like they’ve done with Depp for example.

If LMG findings lead to them figuring out she actually suffered from what she claimed while working in the company, hope they do right by her. I would expect her to do the same in case she was lying about it, since she caused huge harm to the company.
