Hello,
I’m just starting a new job in Belgium however I feel extremely frustrated about the taxation system and I can’t seem to understand if some income will be taxed or not. Different calculators online show different results and I can’t seem to be able to predict what my actual net salary will be.
Basically I have a gross monthly salary of 4742 EUR however I also have a 13th salary paid out in December as required by law as well as a 10% bonus in March in addition to my gross yearly salary.
As far as I can see some sources claim the 13th salary is not taxable and some sources claim it is. The same goes for the bonus. By December I will have worked 4 months and by March (when the bonus is paid out that will be 7 months)
Can you please advise what’s the net amount I’ll receive in December (including my main salary and bonus) and in March (when the 10% bonus is paid out) since I can’t seem to understand how the system works in general
Thanks
