It is my understanding that you can run instruction sets below the one that your CPU is. My Chromebook is x86_64, but I should be able to run 32bit operating systems on it, technically? I know that this can’t be done with any Mrchromebox tools that I know of, so how would one go about compiling SeaBIOS with 32bit support? I’m trying to boot the Hurd, but it only has a i386 release currently.

Sorry that this isn’t actually Linux. This is just the most knowledgeable community I could find that isn’t locked in protest.
