Pledges are PR, nothing more.
Question is, is this an Amber Herd pledge, or will they actually do it?
More importantly are they contributing to local charities or are they donating to a legal enity Bezos’ owns and works in his favor?
Probably pledging to his real estate company that will soon be opening on Maui.
That’s like me giving them a penny, possibly even less than that. Don’t forget kids: the only good billionaire is a dead billionaire.
