Can you use DLS/DLSDR on an 1080p monitor with a 1.2a DisplayPort?
I have an LG C1 55" to play on with a controller, and a new PC on the way. I’m gonna play everything I can on the TV while saving enough for a new monitor to enjoy kb & mouse as well.
My current monitor is an ancient AOC C24G1 which is 24" 1080P 144hz and has a DP 1.2a port.
Do I have any options to utilize the 4090 at least a little bit on it? I still can’t wrap my head around all of the settings but from what I understand I should want at least DLDSR so I can play on a higher resolution.
My feeling is that it’s not gonna be possible due to some technical limitation. I would love to know what I should and shouldn’t be able to do until I get a new screen.
edit:
I may have not been clear on the fact that I have an LG C1 and I’m gonna play on it until I buy another PC monitor. My only question is if I can use DLDSR or any other features on the 4090 to make FPS games (more specifically Hunt: Showdown) look nicer on my old 1080p screen, or if the old ass 1.2a DP port is gonna limit me in some way.
