Good evening/morning everyone!
I am trying to find out what I can do to have my 3090 repaired. Let me give you a bit of background.
I bought the card in the UK from Ebuyer in November 2021. Since about 6 months or so ago I started getting random colored lines when I’d connect the VGA cable. Once I switched the slots a bit, the problem would be solved so I never gave it much thought. Now, randomly, I start getting black screens. The PC is still working and I can hear the games or discord in the background but there is no image. I try changing between VGA ports but the problem persists so I have to restart.
Now I was looking on the Ebuyer RMA request website and it says the GPU is not available for RMA anymore.
Does this mean that I have to send it directly to MSI or do I have to fight the retailer a bit because the product is still under warranty? MSI say their GPU’s come with 3 years warranty. By the way, I always kept the PC in good condition and cleaned it for dust once a month, including the GPU fans.
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
