Haven’t played either. Started a Wario Ware game but haven’t played Wario World. Also haven’t played Mario Odyssey. But if Wario World is similar feeling I’ll bump it up on my play list!

Been recommending it to my one friend with a switch but they’ve been hesitant. Every friend that’s played on my switch speaks well of it.
Haven’t been to a Pixar movie in a minute so hard for me to compare. Actually haven’t seen a movie in a hot minute now that I think about it! I’ll take your word for it and i might have to scope out some movies coming up!
I think my rose tinted glasses say that Starfox is the best (admitting huge bias though lol).

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•Steam Machine and Steam Frame shipping "this summer", Valve now rolling out verification systems
1·3 months agoFair enough. The ease of setup and use is a powerful feature. Though it’s not too hard to confugre a solid long running machine. Just upgraded my old Intel i5 4xxx 750TI machine only because Windows is a pain. Haven’t been able to play a AAA title in a minute though lol.
I’m just thinking about the people I know who purchased a PS5 Pro and I’m not sure they’re going to be the ones tinkering with proton settings on a Linux desktop.
We will surly see as time goes by. And I’m planning to get one if I can because I like tinkering and messing with things.

3·3 months agoAh. I’ve not been following price rumors/talks. And $399 made me think of the old steam deck pricing. Wild that someone would be that convinced a more powerful chunk of hardware would be so much less expensive than current steam deck prices.

2·3 months ago$399? Are you talking about the steam deck? I think the article is talking about the steam machine.
Agreed tho, the cost of the steam machine will overpower what little value the hardware could provide. I don’t see it succeeding at this time. Especially when you can still cobble together a reasonably powered Linux machine.
Will also be interesting to see what future AAA titles do with the stagnant system hardware for the next few years.
Was just chatting with my friend who’s been joining me on the road to play some games. We were talking about button combos and what make them good. I was grumbling about the combos in Warrior Within but then thought of combos in Magicka 1 being great… I am a native PC player though….
Still will jokingly yell the key combo for lighting at my friends to this day ha ha!
It still feels so cinematic too! The camera angles for free running, the level design, the slo-mo put your weapons away after a fight, and the character arcs.
lol, the musical tonal shift in Warrior Within is wild from the first one. The first time Dhaka showed up and started chasing me though the jam hit and it was great.

2·4 months agoJust got the final star spirit in Paper Mario on my N64. Getting close I think! Trying to not use a guide (relatively easy in this game). Been loving it so far. Getting the timing right can be tricky in the battles though!
Also playing Mole Mania on my handheld. Great little game that has me puzzling out solutions. Cute art and animations too!
Receiver 2 in my opinion. Not exactly horror but I still have flashbacks from the activation Beep from kill drones. Mechanically tricky to learn though.
