That is Africa, but it is on its side. North is pointed to the left-ish.
Looks like Africa, but the globe is rotated about 80 degrees.

That is Africa. I think you are confused because a globe does not have the distortion that 2D maps have, that make DR Congo the same size of France on a map for example. Makes you realize how big Africa really is.
