“You will see that Skull and Bones is a fully-fledged game,” he said. “It’s a very big game, and we feel that people will really see how vast and complete that game is. It’s a really full, triple… quadruple-A game, that will deliver in the long run.”

It is so AAAA that i heard about it for the first time now.

Meanwhile there is amazing games from 20 years ago, that are still enjoyable to replay again and again, finding new stuff with every play through.

You heard about skull and bones the first time now? Either you lived under a rock or have not been interested in games in the last decade

I’ve heard about it from posts like this, but other than that not a single friend, or any youtube channels I watch have talked about it or played it.

For awhile I thought it was some older game people were playing again, I had no idea it was a new release.

While not actively following the latest games like i did in highshool, i’ve heard about Diablo IV (being a fiasco), Palworld, Counterstrike 2, Call of Duty MW III (re-re-re-released), Starfield…

So either these games are all also AAAA titles, or maybe Ubisoft is largely exaggerating their games popularity. I didn’t notice there being another Assasins Creed after Valhalla either though. Maybe Ubisoft is just so AAAA that i couldn’t handle it. ;)

This is the rpg where you join the “not a fraternity” in college and then go on to become a political or business leader of the United States, right?

Not a big surprise to any gamer out there. It was even considered dead on arrival for a while.

Another Ubi game I’ll gladly skip, the last one I’ve played being The Crew 2.

Genuinely curious… Do they make any good games? When I think of Ubi, I think of crappy launchers, having to sign into some bullshit account and mediocre games. I tried that Viking assassin’s creed game and it was trash, but I admit I don’t like any of the assassin’s creed games. What’s their killer app for someone who would give the game a fair chance?

I thoroughly enjoyed the first Watch Dogs and that’s about it. Having to get through their launcher sucks big time, yes.
