It’s getting a limited release two years after the Rivian R1T release. The latter has a drag coefficient of 0.3 and a tow capacity of 11,000 pounds. The Cybertruck is rumored to start at 33% more than the R1T, and only the top of the line version can match the much smaller and cheaper R1T in towing capacity. It also has a high drag coefficient of 0.39 and a rumored battery capacity of 250-ish miles.
None of those numbers are confirmed. Who said only the top trim gets that towing number?
Also who said it’s a limited release? They’re starting the build it.
Did the Model S refresh get a limit release? No, it started from 0 and ramped up.

People acted like being the first to market would make the Hummer, Lightning, or R1T become the instant winner.
