    Fucking pussies, they should ban them earlier instead of 2035. Individual car manufacturers aren’t going to be making gas engines at that point. Put the pressure on the auto makers to stop making gas engines earlier, and not just falling in line with the late as hell year of 2035

      In this case New Jersey just joined the same staggered phaseout law that California started and a dozen or so other states have copied. The good news is that it dictated that the portion of new gas cars sold will drop off every year before then until it gets to 100% in 2035.

      That being said, if California had pushed for an faster phaseout I suspect they would have all joined that plan.
