Front right tire indicates 33psi even after multiple trips in the car, the sensor says low? Same pressure as drivers side and that has no issue. Tpms sensor problem? Tire looks good but haven’t actually checked it’s pressure outside of the tpms reading.

There should be a reset button to the left of your steering wheel to make that go away.

On my 3 it’s the INFO button which just changes the info screen on the center/digital gauge cluster to show something else.

It is simply a warning to let you know that the air pressure is below the recommended specification that Mazda has set.

Look at the sticker that is on the car when you have the driver side door open and inflate the tires to the indicated PSI that is on the sticker.

This happens every time he gets cold outside and as the tires age they will slowly lose pressure.

Right? Why not check it first and fill them? Then if you still have a problem, take to dealer. THEN bother everyone on redit if the problem isn’t solved.

I feel you. A lot of people need to be handheld through life. Google is your friend. And so is your local mechanic. Wtf ask social media first?

After seeing so many similar posts on the sub, I’ve come to the conclusion that people think tires would inflate themselves.

What I don’t understand is how people don’t know the universal symbol for low tire pressure by now. I learned this from my 2010 Civic. I’m assuming it was in prior car model years too.

People need to stop fixating on which tire that screen is indicating being low. They all are. Just ignore that, top them all off to what the sticker in the door jamb says, and go about your day. Don’t overthink this. I’ve been seeing this same scenario being posted about a lot lately and I don’t know what’s so hard to understand about it. And yes, you actually have to check/top off the pressures. Just driving it won’t do anything.

    Apologies if that sounded harsh.

Sometime there might be reading errors by the sensor, so deflate the tyre completely and turn the engine on check the tyre pressure readings. If its correct then inflate the tyres back to 34 psi. Run the car for few miles the error should go if not take to dealer to replace the tpms

I’m guessing it went past the alert trigger and the others didn’t, so when you drove and tires inflated a bit the original alert will still be there until you pump it back to the recommended spec, which is 35 psi

I’m not old and even in highschool I checked my non TPMS equipped car every time a cold dip with a warm high. Not to mention at least once every two weeks or so.

Then again didn’t have abs, traction control, or anything in my focus hatch. And always got out of snow better than any of my rich friends with awd etc.

The good ol days when people took the time to care about the massive machine that meant life or death everyday. Now you blame the car for not telling you enough

sounds like a potential issue with the TPMS sensor. i’d recommend getting it checked out by a mechanic.

Your car tire needs air after adding air to spec you need to drive it a bit then it will go away.
