    Man this source has so many things wrong I’m not even sure it could get anything right.

    For starters, Toyota never unveiled plans for a “1,000 mile battery”. It was plans for a 1,000 km battery which is 621 miles and that is going to be made possible with a bipolar battery technology they hope to have by 2028.

    This is notably different from the solid state batteries that they are teaming up with Idemitsu on and have always had problems with getting to mass production.

    So the source mixed up the solid state batteries with the other battery tech that Toyota has been working on and didn’t even get the range right.

    This is one of the worst articles I’ve ever read. Idemitsu is the supplier of solid electrolytes, and Toyota manufactures the batteries.
