Hit a curb awhile back saw this back then and hoped it wouldn’t change but it seems to be getting bigger it’s on the driver side top strut support the car is a 2013 bmw 535i

    That’s a bad one. It really should have gone through insurance and had a trained set of eyes on it. That damage on that car would total it out in all likelihood.

    That needs a proper repair by a proper professional before the crack spreads. The correct repair would involve replacement of the wheelhouse (41107259359). That car should not be on the road as it is currently.

      yea, cracks on structure like this would’ve totaled the car for this car’s value. OP basically spent equal amount of his car’s worth in repair and then end up with a parts car.

    You are a pothole away from full suspension failure. That can be welded by a professional but it is going to cost. Get it fixed. I wouldn’t drive on that anymore.

    Fixable, depends, is it steel or aluminium ?

    Aluminum can’t be welded so… That’s gonna cost a lot ! Need a new part and replace…

    If Steel, could just weld by a professional shouldn’t be too expensive.
