What are these tiny lugnuts with an M on them?
Jag, like Land Rover, like Ford uses two piece lugs. They’re a lug, basically with a thin shell on top. Over time (and I feel from vibration from impact gun/torque sticks it happens soon) humidity and just weathering happens and they swell up. So a 22mm might require a 23mm socket to get off, sometimes even 24mm.
My Jag has the same lugs. They are indeed…. Different.
Other rear tyre with slightly better pic
The m is the top of the wheel stud not part of the nut. A bunch of your lug nuts are broken flush and will need to be cut out with a torch or drilled
The M stands for Metric. They’re not broken, that’s very easy to see.
Oh jeez, I only picked up this car a month ago, hopefully I can get the garage to cover it as it sounds expensive. Thanks for the info
