Owned this car for a yead and only washed it once, last year. And these pads got pretty rusty, so I’m wondering if I should? Because I have always heard rust is normal.

How do I go about it? Do I need to remove the entire wheel to get to them? This is my first car I owned, im an amateur.

It’s not worth your time. To do it properly you would have to remove the calipers, mask them off, sandblast and paint them. The calipers on my car look like yours and they haven’t really changed in 5 years. It’s fine.

It’s not going to hurt anything the way it is, but if you are changing the brakes soon, it wouldn’t hurt to hit them with a wire brush. If you want to get fancy, you can strip and paint them, but I wouldn’t bother.
