“The Lucid Gravity is a premium electric SUV that will be offered in a three-row configuration with six- or seven-passenger seating or a two-row version that seats five.

Lucid expects 440 miles of maximum range and a 60-mph time of 3.5 seconds, via a compact and efficient dual electric motor powertrain derived from the Air sedan.

The starting price will come in under $80,000, with production and deliveries of the initial Dream Edition scheduled for late 2024.”- Car and Driver

Can we just get a car that looks like a car? Not a truck? Something sporty? Even a two door?

Funny, the vehicle is called Gravity and yet its price is still nowhere close to Earth.

    Sorry

Market is very limited for > $80k vehicles, then add competition from model x, R1S, and EX90. Could be a zero sum game. Then add competitors from 3 row suv such as grand highlander hybrid, it will make it difficult to sell this Gravity in high numbers.

The range is the differentiator. If it actually gets 400+ miles of range at about 80K, it may create some real competition with the Volvos, Rivians, BMW and Audi EVs either already on the market or coming in 2024

Until I see more than 5 of them on the road, I’m expecting a bait and switch where the only ones they make will be 120k.

    Also, will it have NACS?

That looks really nice. I’d consider upgrading from my MYLR to the Gravity, but wouldn’t do an X. Especially if this will be able to use the supercharger network. Just use regular doors dude.
