Working on giving this neglected, high-mileage 6 speed G35 sedan new life. I can’t decide if I want to go with the subtle-ish wing or full-on ignorant. The car will be tracked, mainly road racing and autocross with some drifting sprinkled in. I had an 06 about a decade ago that was set up as more of a stance car (not ridiculous, but definitely not track ready). This time around, I’m going for function as well as form. So… which way would you go?
Nope and N O P E
Bro these comments are full of fuddy duddies, if it’s a track car I like the chassis mount, more functional and also just big wang gang lol. Are you going to do wider tires (and therefore overfenders?)
Safe to say this sub is not a fan of the chassis mount 😭
Frfr
Subtle, lol. They’re both hideous and don’t fit this kind of ordinary sedan.
Bro is trying to build a Time Machine.
First is mid second is gross
if you bought something for tracking, why a g35 sedan?
Both
This time around, I’m going for function as well as form.
Then use the one that performs better.
Well, if you’re serious about actually tracking this thing, you’d probably want the option that’s joined to the actual car & NOT a hinged hatch that’s intended to swing open.
Props for already having the brakes done btw.
You don’t need an ironing board bolted to your car.
Dummy thick chassis mount for sure.
The bigger, the better.
I would literally point and laugh
