congrats on the steal
An army of cars.Carmy
Damn clean af.
You got one hell of a deal!
My first car was a 1999 Camry LE V6 in that same green as yours.
I bought it in 2020 for $1,500 with 115k miles. It wasn’t perfect. The left fender and headlight was busted up. Right away, there was a serious power steering leak that I noticed the next day. Then camshaft seal leak that needed the water pump and timing belt removed in the process.
Aside from those leaks, which probably came from not being driven for a long time evidently but this vehicle drove like a dream. The paint was in mint condition virtually no clear coat damage! The interior was like new, it smelled like a new car. The doors felt sturdy not flimsy and light like newer cars, you could feel the build quality when you shut the door. The V6 engine was silky smooth and would accelerate good enough for daily driving without needing to go into higher rpms.
Driving my family’s Honda fit and brand new Nissan Versa made me appreciate this car even more. It felt like a downgrade driving most newer cars! Ultimately, what made me junk this car was a faulty knock sensor that wouldn’t fix even after paying the mechanic to install new sensors and months had passed after registration but emissions would not pass with the check engine light at 150k miles. Wish I could have kept it as my second car but had no space to hold it 🥲
I’ll suck your dick for it
Good buy man! Enjoy it their are good cars. I think a nice 10 inch subwoofer with some JBLs components are good upgrade.
Wow, that’s crazy… that should be full of holes!
Two questions. How? And HOW?
I’d rather have a 150K mile Toyota than a 50K mile Jeep.
i miss my 2000 camry, it was totaled at 293,000 miles but drove like butter up until then
Good deal actually, and it looks clean, you struck gold, just keep the maintenance good, 5k oil changes coolant brake fluid and transmission fluid and it’ll last forever
You got an absolutely amazing deal on this. Holy shit. This would go for $2-3k EASILY in my area on Facebook marketplace. The only cars that you can get for under 2 grand around here have either don’t run at all or have plentiful issues/one major problem, or are sketchy af with every light on the dash on.
Love the green
That’s a deal
Nice! I always see posts like these and yell myself I need to sell my car and get a cheap reliable car like this. But I never do.
I had a 2020 Lexus ES that I sold before I got this Carmy. I really did not need a new car and pay $600 a month in a payment and insurance. Now I only pay $60 a month in insurance.
It may not be a Lexus ES but those 4th gen Camrys were built like a Lexus with their build and ride quality!
