Is $17,000 reasonable or am I out of touch with today’s market? I feel as though I could get a truck 10 years newer with reasonable mileage for that price. I understand it has extremely low mileage but still.
This is just about in “classic car territory”. It’s worth what anyone is willing to pay. If it’s truly a super clean truck with that low mileage it’s not bad if that’s what you’re after. I would recommend getting a professional technician to look at it if you do decide to pull the trigger.
I’d get an obs f150 that’s equally pristine for that budget. It’ll hold value better if you resell.
I’m partial though.
I love obs too but I’m partial to these 10th gens because that’s what I own now and it’s lasted me 400k miles haha
Yeah, but also very clean and extremely low mileage. It’s still 20k less than what a 2018 with the same mileage would cost.
Yea you’re right. It’s just a little out of budget and I don’t know if I could justify spending that much on an older car
These are generally regarded as very reliable trucks. In fact, much more reliable than the trucks that came after, 2004-2010.
Oh I know. I’m 22 and the only car I’ve ever owned is a 2002 that I’m still driving and it’s got 400k miles haha. That’s why I was looking for another one similar in age. Plus it would be nice to own a vehicle where I’m familiar with repairs and parts.
