Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids are considering appointing Jack Wilshere as their new head coach. The former England international, 31, has been coach of Arsenal’s Under-18 team since July 2022 and has made a strong impression, leading them to the 2022–23 FA Youth Cup final in his first season in charge.

The Rapids – owned by the same Kroenke Sports & Entertainment group that own Arsenal – parted ways with former head coach Robin Fraser in September. The fact that the only candidates publicly reported so far are the interim and a guy with 1 year of youth coaching experience should indicate the budget available

fuck I´m getting old. in the moments where he was fit, what he was doing in that arsenal squad was amazing. the mix of physicality and skill was incredible to watch.
