    If there is kibble on the bottom of their bowl and they won’t eat it, try a bigger bowl or a plate. Their whiskers might be touching the side of the bowl while they reach for the bottom and this can cause discomfort in some cats. A wider eating surface prevents the whisker touching and your kitty will eat every scrap.

    Whisker deprivation is a thing. Humans often underestimate how sensitive cat whiskers are. Touching the side of the bowl while eating can be uncomfortable for cats. Try serving the cat food on plates, or sheets of parchment paper.

    Please also keep in mind that dry cat food is generally unhealthy for cats and can significantly shorten their life expectancy because it promotes kidney diseases and kidney failure.
