      Lately, I’ve had more success and less frustration trying to make one test case pass at a time, working my way through them, not adding anything until it’s needed. I use Duolingo too!

      It has quite a lot of years, but like a year or so ago they redid the GUI and it looks much nicer, it is libre software and there are real humans who correct and give feedback to your code. I met a a dude who helps with the Ruby track who learnt to code in the 70’s reading books and writing code on paper who taught me some Ruby in exchange for some Spanish classes. He was pretty cool.
