You’re assertive about a ridiculous interpretation of gender identity, very few can take you seriously and they do it at their own expense. I’m not being flippant about this. I’m genuinely quite certain that the impact this kind of extremely liberal and wide reaching interpretation of gender had on the LGBTQ topic was extremely negative and directly caused the general public to have significantly less understanding and empathy for the cause, starting a little over 10 years ago when the internet was hit with the gender chart, furries, and that girl who was interviewed about pretending to be a wolf. It was so effective at destroying LGBTQ support and momentum that it might as well have been a Christian Fundamentalist psy-op.

There are gay people who say bi people’s existence makes a mockery of them. And bi people who say accepting trans people is hurting the queer movement. But that’s the OPPOSITE of how this works.
