I’m gonna look to change my provider. Fuck this shit. Their website is crap, their form to reach support is impossible to complete and now this. Oh, and it’s not even 5G. Frick this. > . <

Italy here. At home i have 5G truly unlimited. No catches whatsoever. For 23€/month.

    On mobile i have 70gb for 6.70€/month (could have 200gb for 9.99) on 4g.

Clarification: home is in the bushes, only mobile reaches out, no fiber or ADSL, so i got a “fixed line” 5G offer (5g as in mobile, but for home, whatever)

I’ve been wronged. WRONGED! I’m also tired of how mobile data providers offer better deals for a modem using a SIM card than a SIM card you put into your phone. >:C

Sounds pretty ok if your 5G is worth its name. A good friend of mine also has to use 5G because his house (which is 5m away from a house which has DSL) can only get 5G and he has heavy limitations on his connection with shit speeds and even shittier data volumes.

Same situation here. Tried them all… This is good. Maybe not full speed 24/7 but the best I had since I moved in the bushes.

Upload speed is always amazing. Download speed is pretty good for streaming, torrenting and WFH concurrently.

Price range is identical to all other solutions.

        Not going back.

(And very lucky to be under 5g coverage)

A co-worker was asking me if I could find a truly unlimited data plan for the Netherlands (we aren’t from there but she frequents the country a lot and I lived there for a while). It is absolutely impossible. Every data plan has a 5-10GB per day restriction, even though they all claim to be unlimited.

I get that it’s generally done to discourage hogging the mobile network and making it miserable for everyone but in that case you shouldn’t be able to call something unlimited, because 5-10GB is far far from unlimited…

It just shouldn’t be legal! It’s lies and manipulations! I really hate continental Europe’s mobile plans. In Ireland I was payign 7.99 for unlimited calls, SMSs and 100GB of Internet a month. In Germany I get 3-4GB for 10 euros and tons of traps.

Tell me about it…I’m German, so I understand your plight. German data plans are the worst. It’s gotten better over the years but we are still far away from sensible prices. If it continues the way it did the last couple of years you’ll get your old Irish mobile plan for the same price in maybe 10 years or so, it’s such a fucking joke.

You know what else? Vodafone’s and Telekom’s max Internet speed for my address is 16. In the year 2023. Willy tel and 1&1 offer max 100. I was recommended Willy tel and I strongly advise to recommend them, especially to people who don’t speak German or don’t speak it well, but speak English. They have really great support in English and are VERY helpful. I will have my Internet installed on Wednesday. I hope I can survive until then. I cannot find the will in myself to play BG3, especially since I cannot patch it without the Internet and I fear I will get some really bad bug which would ruin my save. :c [not that my save is very progressed, I literally deleted my character again today because I saw the stats and I want to be more of a hipster so I swapped from a half-elf warlock into a greed dragon cleric dragonborn.)

Lol, 16mbits is absolutely atrocious, but worst thing is that it is not even all that unique…I know a couple of people with the same speeds.

Good to know that there are companies with good English support in Germany as well. That is pretty unique in general. I can only speak for myself but my experience with 1&1 is really good. Their customer support was really helpful when we had internet problems that, as it turned out, they weren’t responsible for at all. They also switched our connection to a dynamic ipv4 address just by asking for one over the phone, with no extra charge. The price we pay for our 250mbits connection, even with a pretty much constant discount is still too high imo, but that is true for every German internet provider.

Aww man. You’re missing out then. I’d say the day one version of BG3 is pretty good, as long as you’re not racking up a huge amount of save games you should be fine (as there is a bug that was fixed with a recent hotfix regarding having too many save games). Cleric Dragonborn sounds interesting though! I’m running with a Dwarfen Paladin, which has been really fun and seems to jive well with the companions I’ve found so far.

I don’t like playing human-like characters because I don’t feel represented by the available options so I always go for the least human option which I can make look pretty (to be more like me UwU). I think my issue is I played the act 1 so much during the beta, I cannot make myself go through this again. But I guess I will force myself to soon, because my Internet is running low!

Got it! BG3/DnD is pretty human looking focused with all the half-human races and very human looking races (like Gnomes and Dwarfs), which is shame in cases as yours, so it really seems that the Dragonborn is your best bet. I usually play Orcs but Half-Orcs just aint that unfortunately, although I adore Dwarves as well so it’s fine for .

Sounds like it, yeah. I have a really hard time replaying parts of games which is why I avoid early access and the likes usually. I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to play BG3 near launch, but I pirated the game to try it out and then it sucked me in and I bought it the next day.

My main issue is I’m what I’d call anatomically nonbinary and the male and female body presets don’t represent me. By now I’m used to playing lizardmen tbh, that’s what I did in ESO as well. ^ ^’

I am aching for some good beastfolk. Like yeah, I can finally run the CG Drow Warlock that got laughed out of an IRL brick-and-mortar a decade and a half ago, but my character design preferences have gone so far past the core four(human, elf, dwarf, orc) since then that it’s actually kind of hard for me to make mundane humanoids again
